About the Company
A local business with a widely recognised household name are looking to recruit for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. The company who operate throughout the UK and Ireland have recently experienced rapid growth and due to this expansion are looking to add to their Accounts Team
Reporting to the Finance Director this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties
About the Job
- Developing good relationships with customers to ensure payment within agreed timelines
- Circulating and reviewing debt reports internally with the Companys sales team
- Keeping up to date notes and correspondence on customer accounts
- Handling disputed transactions with customers to ensure swift conclusion
- Credit vetting new customer accounts, together with ongoing review of existing customer credit limits
- Overseeing the customer cash allocation process
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience of working in a credit control function preferably with a large customer base
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger accounts team
- Good I.T. skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be used to working to targets and deadlines
