Our exclusive client is looking to bring their full financial control in house and grow their finance team following extensive growth which is set to continue both organically and via acquisition. Currently with 2 in finance this brand new opportunity will allow you to shape the department so the team can provide robust, timely and meaningful financial support to the whole business. Working closely with the leadership and operations teams you will be instrumental in assisting the business make key commercial decisions. Reporting to the MD and working with the owners of the organisation.
Main Duties will include
- Prepare meaningful financial and management accounts
- Prepare and present KPI and other financial reports
- Integrate a robust budgeting and forecasting strategy both by leading the process and presenting the wider business
- Cashflow analysis
- Develop relationships with external advisors including accountants, financial institutions etc
- Develop and lead a growing finance department
- Strategic support by providing financial insights to the business
- Oversee Internal Audit initiatives across the departments in order to improve processes and successful delivery of projects
- IT systems improvements the business are looking to develop this strategy and use technology to drive growth
In return for your commercial experience, you can expect a long career with the business as it grows. You will be No 1 in finance and ultimately take a position at board level. This is a very exciting opportunity within a successful company for someone ideally with 3-5 years experience leading a finance team.
