Musgrave Northern Ireland is recuiting a Credit Controller to join our Finance Team.

Responsbilities:

  • To support the Credit Control Manager in managing debt and risk for the business including providing accurate and timely information.

  • Responsible for implementing company policy on credit control

  • Supporting the cash on delivery process

  • Support the Credit Control Assistant to ensure all payments are allocated within a timely manner.

  • Support the Credit Control Team Lead in creating direct debit files and submission to bank circulating remittance advice notes to customers.

  • Preparing and circulating monthly statements.

  • Employing collection techniques as appropriate, including letters, phone calls and stop lists.

  • Maintain good communication with sales team, keeping them informed and enlisting their help when appropriate

  • Dealing with customer queries

  • Production of weekly reports for management on overdue balances

  • Support the Credit Control Team Lead to manage the procedure of opening new customer credit accounts in line with Approval Matrix.

  • Following HMRC procedures for vat exempt accounts.

  • Any other reasonable duties as required by Management.

Requirments:

  • Candidates should have 2 years + experience as a Credit Controller in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong administration,planning and time managment skills.

  • Be a forward thinker with the ability to work on their own initiative.

  • Excellent comunication Skills.

  • Customer Focused.

This is an 18 month contract.

Musgrave operate a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely. Occasional business travel to other locations will also be required.
