What can you expect from the role?

Are you ready to take the next step in your retail management career? Vision Express is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our dedicated team at Burton-on-Trent.
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in leading a busy optical retail store with a team of 6 retail colleagues and 4 optometrists. You’ll play a key role in delivering a best-in-class customer experience, driving team performance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in retail leadership, customer service, or optical retail who is looking to grow their career with a trusted and innovative brand in the eye care industry.
Although the hours for this role are advertised, we’re open to discussing flexible working options that help you achieve the right balance. Whether that means adjusting start and finish times, working around school hours, or exploring compressed hours – we’re happy to talk. Please note, due to business needs, Saturday working is required as part of this role.
