The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Location: 1h30 max away from South Wimbledon office
At least 3 years\’ experience working with CCTV or Access Control systems is required.
A valid, clean driving licence is essential.
Valid ECS/FESS Card for site-based work.
The candidate will mainly work in and around the M25, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Service and repair of security systems
- Routine inspections
- Troubleshooting faults
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations
- Participating in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs (1 week in 7)
Experience
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems, maintenance, and repair
- Experience setting up IP-based security systems, configuring network settings, and ensuring communication between devices and servers
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Setting up remote monitoring solutions and providing remote technical support
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and customer interaction abilities
Must have experience working with:
- CCTV – Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, EagleEye, Vista
- Access Control – Paxton, ACT, Salto, Brivo, Gallagher
- Door Entry – Fermax, BPT, Videx, 2N
Additional information: Overtime, Saturday pay rates, travel time, and double pay for Sundays and public holidays.
