The Role
The Senior Account Executive is a key role within the team, working alongside the Senior Account Manager, Senior Account Director, and the digital, trading, strategy, and regional-hubs teams to ensure the client has optimal media support in place. This role provides exposure to global media planning and activation, coordination and governance across multiple stakeholders, and teaches you to deliver top-class service and solutions even if you haven’t yet mastered every aspect.
This role is to work across one of the Network\’s largest clients in automotive. It is within the central global team based in London that coordinates media activities across 6 regions worldwide, working closely with regional hub teams and local markets. The role requires a blend of multi-market, multi-channel media coordination activities, strategy support, client intelligence support, and account management.
The role is a key interface with our Global Automotive clients on multi-market campaigns and projects, and your ability to funnel market understanding into clear, client-ready insights is essential. It requires a dynamic and operational skill set for strategic and media coordination activities across different markets.
We are ideally seeking a candidate with digital proficiency who is looking to broaden their scope of cross-media skills.
Key to success in this role are the skills and sensibilities of working across cultures—and a strong ability to adapt to diverse practices. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive candidate who, under tight deadlines, stays focused, clear-minded, and decisive.
The candidate should bring digital buying/planning experience and be familiar with key ad tech platforms such as ad servers, DSPs, and social platforms, and understand how digital and social media maturity vary by market and region. An understanding of the roles of the technology involved is a must.
A curious, clear-minded approach and attention to detail will help you navigate the many processes and stakeholders at a global level.
Responsibilities
• Support the central client team to carry out day-to-day tasks and outputs, coordinating inputs from regional hubs and local markets and validating submitted work.
• Ensure high standards for key client deliverables such as status reports, intelligence documents, and media landscape overviews, and suggest improvements.
• Support the end-to-end campaign process—from brief interrogation and strategic planning to execution and reconciliation—collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Operate media planning and buying in alignment with planning guidelines and decision frameworks.
• Ensure smooth campaign execution, respecting deadlines and anticipating milestones.
• Provide analytical support for digital media campaigns and use data and audience insights to inform planning.
• Maintain centralized ad tech setup and ensure compliance.
• Collect and check client submissions from regional and local teams.
• Develop and monitor weekly communications with central clients and regional teams.
• Manage central/pan-regional media campaigns in alignment with guidelines.
• Support proprietary tool usage and compliance.
• Build relationships with media owners to contribute to campaign responses.
Key Competencies
• 2+ years of experience in a media agency, ideally with international exposure.
• Understanding of media channels and their roles in the consumer journey.
• Clear and precise communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable building relationships with clients and internal teams across cultures.
• Ability to work with large data volumes and extract insights.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptionally organized and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong internal relationship-building skills with local offices and specialist units.
• Proactive in asking questions and identifying potential issues.
• Self-starter with a collaborative working style and desire to grow.
• Effective under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with advertising tech (e.g., ad servers, DSPs).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Desire to take ownership and be accountable for outcomes.
• Collaborative team player who is respectful and supportive.
• Demonstrates multicultural awareness and experience working in diverse regions.
