Are you a seasoned Health and Safety professional looking for your next challenge within a multi–site environment?
Our client operating across several UK locations is seeking a Group Health and Safety Managerto take ownership of their health and safety function. This is a key role that will see you travelling across various sites, engaging with teams and embedding best practice throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure compliance and drive safety culture.
- Keeping training records current and ensuring all staff receive appropriate safety instruction.
- Leading risk assessments and safety audits across all operational sites.
- Reviewing and updating company health and safety policies in line with legislation.
- Supporting site managers and teams to improve safety performance and awareness.
- Taking full ownership of the H&S agenda while building strong relationships at all levels.
- Influencing behavioural change and winning hearts and minds to embed a proactive safety culture.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a group–level Health and Safety Manager role, ideally within a multi–site setting.
- A recognised Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (someone who can engage, influence and lead but not bore)
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands–on approach.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
