Role: HR Business Partner | Manufacturing

We’re THG Nutrition – the home of Myprotein and a key part of THG’s global health ecosystem. From innovation through to production, we fuel performance and wellbeing worldwide.
As we continue to scale our Manufacturing operations, we’re looking for a driven, confident, and experienced People Business Partner to join our team. This is a key on-site role supporting our Manufacturing leadership teams, ensuring our people processes, performance culture, and workforce strategies are delivered with impact and precision.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of People, you’ll be responsible for providing full-spectrum HR support across our Manufacturing sites. You’ll lead on strategic projects, employee relations, performance management, and data-led decision making – with a strong focus on supporting our 24/7 production teams.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, who is confident in working independently and ready to take ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic HR Delivery
Lead the end-to-end people strategy within your business unit
Partner with Site Leads on organisational design, change projects, and workforce planning
Manage succession planning, pay reviews, promotions, and role banding processes
Own performance ratings and bonus process coordination across the unit
Employee Relations
Act as escalation point for complex ER cases including sickness, flexible working, performance, grievance and disciplinary matters
Lead welfare reviews, OH referrals, and capability processes
Coach and support managers to build confidence in people management
Oversee all aspects of parental leave and related policy implementation
Performance & Development
Drive performance culture and accountability in partnership with site leadership
Coordinate post-review actions and ongoing performance development plans
Deliver training on HR processes and coach managers on effective people leadership
Support local induction and employee development initiatives
Champion diversity, inclusion and employee engagement across site
People Operations & Stakeholder Management
Be the strategic HR partner for Manufacturing leadership – a trusted advisor on all people-related matters
Collaborate with central People teams (Shared Services, Payroll, People Data) for accurate and timely inputs
Align with fellow People Business Partners to ensure consistent delivery and shared best practice
Data & Insight
Feed into KPI packs and provide meaningful people insights to the Site Leadership Team
Use data to spot trends, influence decisions and track progress
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of HR experience, with strong generalist grounding
Proven HR experience in a manufacturing, logistics or 24/7 operational environment
Strong employment law knowledge and practical ER expertise
Demonstrated ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
Excellent data literacy and confident presenting insights
Flexibility to support varying shift patterns and occasional weekend presence
