About the role

As part of the Design team, you will collaborate closely with leadership, product managers, engineers, data scientists, marketing, and other designers to deliver smart designs on schedule. Your work will directly enhance our products and elevate the user experience across the board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of features and product deliveries.

  • Embed design thinking throughout the product development process.

  • Empathetically understand user problems and explore practical solutions.

  • Simplify complexity at every stage.

  • Sketch user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.

  • Create beautiful, elegant high-fidelity designs.

  • Champion user research and consistently advocate for users.

  • Translate research insights into intuitive design solutions.

Requirements

  • At least one of the following: 2 years in a UX-related role, a design degree, or a recognised UX certification.

  • Portfolio showcasing your designs and design process.

  • Strong knowledge of visual design and UX, with a keen curiosity.

  • Experience using Figma and a solid understanding of design systems.

  • Familiarity with and passion for AI tools and emerging technologies.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Preferred Requirements

  • Good user research knowledge.

  • Comfortable giving and receiving thoughtful, direct, and clear feedback.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience working with AI tools or workflows is a strong advantage.

  • Background in publishing or news media is highly valued.
