The Role
As a Principal EC&I Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your work will be critical in shaping the future of nuclear fuels, supporting groundbreaking initiatives that advance energy security and sustainability including our Tails Management Facility (TMF) or our Reprocessed Uranium (RepU) project.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide leadership in the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of engineering work
- Supervise engineers / technical specialists
- Produce, review, verify and approve outputs
- Ensure delivery of technical solutions in line with agreed scope
- Effective management of the customer
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Experience Required Of The Principal EC&I Engineer
- Strong EC&I Background
- Experience of plant process control systems
- Understanding of contractual processes and arrangements (NEC3 etc)
- Ability to provide governance, oversight & strategic control
Qualifications For The Principal EC&I Engineer
- Degree level qualified in relevant engineering subject
- Chartered status preferred
