Morson Technical Services are currently seeking a Logistic Assistant & Support Driver to join the team at RNAS Culdrose on a Permanent basis. PURPOSE – To perform the duties as laid down in the relevant Culdrose Logistic Support Work Instructions. Provide Logistics support as directed by Logistics Management in line with the IMOS contract. This encompasses the roles of stores accountancy, storekeeping and driver duties. In addition, operate within the clients Health and Safety requirements. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS Carry out work which will enable CLF Management to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Assist with the receipt, issue, handling, preservation, storage and security of all store’s items in accordance with current Regulations When authorised, operate the current release or version of IT systems relevant to role, to include, SAP, MJDI and MoDNET. Assist in the issuing of R4 stock in support of the R4 Demand Plan Assist in the location and consolidation of R4 stock Assist in the movement of R4 items between W1 and W2, utilising correct MHE Assist in the packing of R4 items, to ensure correct packing standards are achieved for items held in stock Loading and unloading of equipment, using the correct manual handling equipment, including the use of forklift trucks Provide cover for the Depth Support Driver during times of absence. Undertake any other duties as directed by your Managers. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office application Experience of Packaging – if necessary training will be given. Good level GCEs/GCSEs in Mathematics and English. Clean driving licence. Fork lift truck licence – if necessary training will be given.
