This vital role focuses on managing the Cost of Sales and controllable expenses to support seamless operations. The role entails overseeing ordering, stock control, processing, and invoicing to ensure efficient and high-quality catering services. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a proactive mindset, dedicated to cost management, process optimization, and team collaboration to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate weekly team meetings and prepare operational/management reports. Assist in P&L reporting, including data collection and preparing financial forecasts. Update and maintain accurate forecasting and financial planning data. Collaborate with operations teams to analyze weekly performance and manage shopping baskets. Oversee stocktakes, inventory management, and interdepartmental transfers. Train unit teams on financial awareness and control processes. Partner with the Location Accountant to enhance financial performance and refine processes. Support month-end reconciliations and closing tasks. Prepare and reconcile weekly variable labor forecasts, reporting any variances. Handle supplier queries by coordinating with internal teams and purchasing departments. Propose and implement improvements to boost business growth and market competitiveness. Deliver cost of sales analyses, including insights on sales mix trends.
