Carbon60 are currently looking for a Customer Operations Advisor to join a client of ours who is based on the Kellogg\’s site in Manchester. Our client is a large engineering specialist who provide an array of services to their clients. This is initially a 12 week contract, then after 12 weeks you will be offered a fixed term contract. Working hours are Monday – Friday | 7am – 4pm. Main duties & responsibilities: Sales Order processing – main role Progressing outstanding orders Sourcing and resourcing parts used within the factory Working with customer, engineering team on site and other colleagues to develop the relationship and site and ensure contractual obligations fulfilled Expediting orders Contacting suppliers Sourcing non-stocked parts, negotiating price, lead times, delivery times if not already contractual agreements in place Follow customer procedures and standards, customer H&S requirements as well Potentially support engineers on-site with entering the stores and manual handling Essential skills / experience / qualifications: Computer literacy (training offered on ERP systems) – monitoring inboxes, data entry in Excel, accuracy in simple processes Ability to interact with people at different levels Complete duties in a timely and efficient manner Reliability of attendance is key Communication skills and comfortable in a customer facing role Not essential to have prior engineering knowledge of components, just sales/customer service with the IT skills About our client: Our client is a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider, making remarkable a reality every single day.
