We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Cambridge Beehive practice! Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. You\’ll be working alongside vets, vet nurses, other VCAs, and our reception team, carrying out a wide range of tasks. We\’re looking for a team player who is willing to get stuck in, work hard, and is keen to learn. We\’ll provide training and support to get you going, and you\’ll quickly become an integral member of the team. Your tasks will include keeping the clinic clean, tidy, and organised; feeding and monitoring in-patients; running clinical tests; managing stock; handling a variety of small animals; helping set up for operations; deep cleaning all areas; speaking to clients on the phone and in person. Good verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week with no weekends. We understand the importance of a good work/life balance and so we are happy to offer you a 4 day week if this is something you would prefer! Previous experience would be desirable but not essential!
