The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to teach in a progressive environment that values innovation, creativity, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Computer Science Language and Literature lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Plan and teach engaging, dynamic lessons that inspire a love for reading and writing
- Support students in developing literacy, analytical, and communication skills
- Provide effective, constructive feedback to aid student progress
- Contribute to curriculum development and share new ideas and strategies
- Encourage participation in enrichment activities like writing clubs and competitions
- Be an active member of the school community, promoting its positive values
What We\’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Computer Science literature and language
- A creative and learner-centered teaching approach
- Confident classroom management and a proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
