IT Operations Specialist / IT Support Specialist / Technical Support Analyst – 1st and 2nd line – Banking – London – Hybrid working

Exciting opportunity for an Technical Operations Specialist to join a flexible IT function within a Banking organisation and be responsible for supporting both the IT department and core banking application developers. You\’ll be the bridge between users, business teams, and technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and delivering enhancements to improve service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary IT liaison – managing incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
  • Support PC network/infrastructure
  • Provide second‑line support for Office 365, Teams, telephony, AV and dealer turrets
  • Deploy software and updates using SCCM; manage AD starter/leaver access and mobile devices
  • Support remote working, laptops/desktops, printers (via UniFlow) and network infrastructure
  • Maintain IT procedures, consumables, and hardware asset records for CEMEA
  • Enforce security standards and support group-wide IT initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors and head office IT to resolve issues promptly
  • Document IT processes, update policies, and assist with ITIL/Service catalogue improvements

You will have:

  • Solid IT operations/support experience- gained from within a banking or financial services company
  • Strong grasp of Windows infrastructure, networking, Office 365, SCCM and ITSM tools
  • Confident in handling escalations, troubleshooting complex issues, and working under pressure
  • Excellent communicator with stakeholder management skills across projects and vendors
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend support
  • ITIL certification and SCCM experience are advantageous
