We are building the next generation foundations that will power the Fitbit app across various platforms.The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google\’s various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user\’s interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Write mobile applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
- Craft elegant and functional user interfaces using modern frameworks.
- Develop foundational technologies for use across feature teams within the broader application.
- Drive designs for major mobile components and features. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance mobile software solutions.
- Ensure a high level of quality implementing unit and integration tests as well as other mobile software architecture best practices.
