Edge Services Specialists is responsible for AWS Edge Services go-to-market, covering (but no limited) the services of Amazon CloudFront, Shield and WAF, etc. You will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of a leading CDN and intelligence application protection technology. Your responsibilities will be to help increase the market penetration in enterprise accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.
Key job responsibilities
– Drive revenue and adoption of Edge services such as Amazon CloudFront, Amazon WAF, Amazon Shield, Amazon Route53, and other AWS offering in a defined territory. Meet or exceed annual revenue targets;
– Build & propose a comprehensive account/territory Edge Services GTM plan;
– Create & articulate compelling value propositions around the use of CloudFront, Shield, AGA and WAF;
– Guide field teams in pricing strategies;
– Work with partners to extend coverage and the Edge Services adoption;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor\’s degree
– 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
– Strong sales competencies in the areas of Edge (eg; CDN, WAF, Anti-DDoS).
– Strong verbal and written communications in English is a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
– Direct field experience in Edge products or services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
– Demonstrated ability to work across a matrixed, cross-functional team
– Sales overlay experience (as a specialist, SME, etc)
– Experience working with or selling in cloud computing environments
– Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills
