Position Overview: As a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will be a crucial member of our dynamic mental health team, providing high-quality care to adults with diverse mental health needs. This role involves assessments, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions, contributing to the overall mental wellness of the individuals in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments for adults and formulating individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care for adults.
  • Leading and participating in the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions, including medication management.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
  • Contributing to risk assessments and developing management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of adults.

    • Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Previous experience as a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated competence in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult mental health conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in Adult Psychiatry.
