HGV Class 1 Driver Luton

Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professionalHGV Class 1 Driversfor ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Luton. You will be TRUNKING from the DC to various Depot locations.

HGV Class 1 Driver role details:

  • Shift start times:04.00 – 09:00

  • Working days: 7 Day operation

  • Average shift length: 10 -12 hours

  • PAID BREAKS

  • Overtime after 10 hours

  • Each shift you are assigned with a drivers mate,to deliver cages and totes into stores usually overnight and early mornings.

HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates

Monday to Friday:

  • Day shifts: £19.00 p/h PAYE
  • Night shifts: £22.00 p/h PAYE

Candidate requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 Driving licence withno more than 6 points on license
    (no major endorsements)

  • Minimum 1 year experiencedriving HGV Class 1

  • Flexible availability to meet shift requirements

  • Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

  • Must pass an assessment following with an induction(paid if you do pass)
