My client is a large business based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving the company they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this is an excellent time to join at a pivotal moment in their growth journey as they look to double in size over the next four years. As the Head of Finance Shared Services you will be responsible for overseeing all transactional services as well as the R2R function. This will include setting the strategic direction for the SSC and leading on the delivery of it\’s services, driving transformation to improve efficiencies and controls and modernise systems, manage risk, compliance and governance across all processes, business partner with various key stakeholders both finance and non-finance across the organisation, as well as leading a large team, developing the staff within that team and ensure robust KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement plans are in place. This role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience leading transactional and R2R functions in a large, complex organisation. The salary on offer is paying up to £140,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working, generous holidays and a fantastic workplace culture
