Site Manager (Retrofit)

Retrofit Site Manager Cardiff £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + car allowance, fuel card, bonus scheme Full-time, Permanent Our client are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Retrofit Site Manager to lead the delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency projects. This role involves overseeing operational site activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, and building strong client and stakeholder relationships while delivering high-quality outcomes aligned with sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage programmes of work within time and budget constraints. * Oversee operational delivery of retrofit projects including insulation, ventilation, heating upgrades, and energy installations. * Ensure full compliance with all regulatory standards including PAS 2030/2035, Gas & Electrical Regulations, and Building Control. * Maintain strong client, resident, and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery. * Manage and support engineers and subcontractors, addressing technical queries and performance. * Lead on-site health & safety and quality monitoring through regular site inspections. * Deliver progress reports, site documentation, and cost updates in collaboration with the commercial team. * Organise and facilitate team briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions. Requirements: * Proven experience from trade background to site management level. * SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card. * IOSH Managing Safely certification. * Knowledge of Temporary Works Procedures. * Excellent understanding of construction methods and retrofit techniques. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools. * Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage cost variations. * First Aid at Work certified. Desirable: * Retrofit Coordinator or Assessor qualification. * Experience with sustainability/energy efficiency projects. * M&E systems or heat network project management experience.
