I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer in Aberdeen Salary : £50,000 – £75,000 + Bonus + Pension Industry: Onshore / Offshore / Hydrogen / CCS / LNG Company Background Market-leading advisory company focused on providing technical and advisory services to the global energy industry. Duties Engage in all Control & Instrumentation (C&I) discipline tasks, encompassing document preparation and validation, development of philosophies, specifications, procedures, standards, and data sheets. Provide essential control and instrumentation insights for front-end engineering studies across multiple disciplines. Execute diverse C&I engineering investigations aligned with client directives. Contribute to safety evaluations such as HAZOP and LOPA. Ensure adherence to project specifications and compliance with safety and quality standards in instrument, control, and telecom design. Collaborate with other disciplines to formulate control and safeguarding philosophies and specifications. Background Holds a relevant engineering degree. Has prior early-career experience as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer. Possesses strong communication skills with proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Demonstrates broad computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications. Working towards Chartered Engineer status is beneficial.
