The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting Class 2 Tipper drivers on behalf of our client in Barnsley.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.
Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour PAYE with 25 per night out allowance AND paid for hotel.

Location: Barnsley, S75.
Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The Role

  • Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.
  • Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Requirements:

  • 2 years\’ Class 2 experience on Tipper trucks
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
