Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure delivery of all planned work within designated possessions.
  • Formulate and complete possession paperwork, including Possession Packs and KPI Forms.
  • Ensure that all possession protection and management arrangements comply with relevant Group and Company Standards (including the Network Rail Rule Book GE/RT/8000).
  • Ensure efficiency, reliability and operational safety of designated possessions.
  • Ensure robustness of possession arrangements including interfacing of worksites and the associated train plans.
  • Briefing and management of possession protection staff.
  • Monitor and report on possession safety and efficiency with post-possession reporting; identify lessons learned and submit training or recommendations to the Operation Delivery Manager.
  • Audit sites to ensure contractors adhere to procedures and hold relevant certifications.
  • Attend planning meetings and PICOP briefings as requested by the Operation Delivery Manager.
  • Carry out pre-possession site checks and complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Provide regular updates on progress within the possession to Network Rail Control, and immediately alert them to any risk of an overrun.

Qualifications

A full driving license is required and a minimum PICOP competency required.

£60,681 per annum
