You will contribute to the success of Ball by performing tasks and providing services to support the plant’s production goals and overall business plans.Your key responsibilities include:To ensure the end of the production process continues to flow and the Palletiser is kept running at all times in line with production plans.Complies with and practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.Take ownership for the production line, inspire yourself and others to achieve world class manufacturing practices and results, avoiding line backups and resolving any mechanical issues.Conducts inspection of in-process or finished product to ensure quality targets are achieved.Takes care of the work area and equipment to create a safe and efficient work environment, responsible for keeping the area clean and tidy with good housekeeping practices.Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.What are we looking for?Ability to follow instructions and work in a safe manner.Sound communication skills, ability to clearly explain processes and carry out effective shift handovers, therefore English language skills are essential – written, verbal and reading.Experience of working in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.A Mechanical background would be advantageous.Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
