We are seeking a Design Engineer to work for a successful manufacturing company based in Kent. Job Summary: The purpose of this role is to drive forward the design of both existing and new product development, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within specification and to budget. In addition, ensuring the department provides an effective engineering support function to Operations and Sales and Marketing departments. The mechanical design engineer will be responsible for the design and detail of engineering components and complete systems, using the company’s 3D CAD system, to defined standards and to undertake specific engineering tasks as determined by the functional area.
