Drainage Engineer Location: Ideally based in London / South East Job Type: Full-time | 40 hours per week + overtime Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year (depending on experience) On-call: Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota required About the Role Due to continued growth, we’re looking to recruit experienced Drainage Engineers to join our expanding team. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals with a background in commercial, industrial, and domestic drainage work. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving a variety of drainage issues using high-pressure water jetting, CCTV inspection equipment, and undertaking minor repair works such as excavations, lining, or patching. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and clear blockages on domestic and commercial sites Operate high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) equipment Carry out CCTV drainage inspections and assessments Perform minor drainage repairs (excavations, lining, patching) Maintain health & safety compliance at all times Participate in the on-call rota for emergency works Accurately complete job reports and documentation What We’re Looking For ? Minimum 1 year of drainage industry experience ? Skilled in high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ card preferred) ? Experience with CCTV drainage equipment ? Comfortable working on both domestic and commercial sites ? Full UK driving licence ? Flexible to work overtime and participate in on-call rota ?
