A reputable and growing company based in New Milton are looking for a permanent a Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager, offering a salary of up to £45,000. This role has been newly created in response to business expansion. Ideal candidates will possess proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing setting and demonstrate a strong desire to advance their career. Role responsibilities of the Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager include: Oversee and manage the purchasing of all materials to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while optimising costs and inventory levels. Develop and execute long-term and short-term supply plans using MRP systems to enhance process efficiency and decision-making. Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships, including sourcing new suppliers, managing existing partnerships, and negotiating contracts to maximise value. Monitor, report, and analyse KPIs related to purchasing activities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. Lead, support, and develop the supply chain team through coaching, documentation, and implementation of standard procedures and systems. Person Specification of the Buyer: Previous experience in supply chain management or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
