We\’re looking for an R&D Process Safety Manager. Based at our Capenhurst site. you\’ll play an important role within the R&D function, leading and supporting the design of new high hazard technology, ensuring delivery of a practical safe design and a logical safety case is a complex task. The R&D Process Development Team develop designs for new applications and processes. As these can involve high hazard chemicals and challenging process conditions, an excellent all round understanding of how this impacts Process Safety and Licensing is essential. The team works within a highly regulated environment and must therefore work to strict quality, safety and environmental standards. The team need to develop an understanding of complex equipment and processes, enlist specialist support, as required, and turn this understanding into practical design / safe solutions.
