An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Development Chef to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role: The Junior Development Chef is responsible for supporting the Food Operations Manager and Development Chef with designing and developing new dishes and menus for the Joseph Holt estate of food pubs. Key Responsibilities: Work with the Development Chef and the Food Operations Manager to create new and innovative dishes across our four varied menu concepts which keep Joseph Holt ahead of the competition. Work independently to develop sound recipes/dishes with accuracy for different menus, bringing new products and ideas to the team. Support the Development Team to meet and exceed customer expectations. Provide training and support to kitchens across the company, when required. Participate in brainstorming sessions to build a strong bank of ideas around menu and dish development. Cook and present dishes clearly, accurately and persuasively where required.
