We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a Section 278 works project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile highways scheme, with a strong likelihood of further work following successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways, drainage, and associated 278 works.
- Producing and checking as-builts, QA records, and site documentation.
- Working closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with drawings and design information.
- Maintaining accurate site records and assisting with progress reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on 278 or highways schemes.
- Proficient in use of GPS / Total Station equipment.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications.
- SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
