Lead the Commercial Charge in Energy Recruitment

London (Hybrid, 2 days/week)

Up to £70K base + bonus + uncapped commission

Why this role might be exactly what you’re after:

  • You’ll own new client acquisition. No legacy baggage, no desk to protect
  • You\’ll open structured, high-hiring accounts with serious potential
  • Bonus tied to both client wins and delivery outcomes – not vanity metrics
  • Delivery’s sorted. You’ll work closely with a seasoned contract team already generating significant weekly revenue
  • Global infrastructure, no red tape. Everything you need to succeed, minus the politics

The Opportunity:

This firm is well-established in the energy and infrastructure space with a sharp focus on clean tech, project services and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Backed by a wider group, they’ve got serious ambition and strong foundations in place.

They’ve built a solid reputation across the UK and Europe but their client base is still under-leveraged. The relationships are there. Now they need someone to turn them into real commercial value.

This is a senior individual contributor role. No team management, but significant influence. You’ll pitch to mid-to-senior stakeholders, qualify real vacancy flow and partner with delivery to maximise revenue from each win.

You’ll thrive here if you…

  • Have a track record in contract recruitment (energy, infra, construction or engineering sectors ideal)
  • Have billed £250K+ annually and know what it takes to scale accounts
  • Are confident pitching exclusive, multi-hire or solutions-led recruitment models
  • Are commercially minded, outcome-focused and motivated by building something long-term
  • Want autonomy, senior-level trust and the tools to make real commercial impact

What you’ll get in return:

  • Up to £70K base + uncapped commission (up to 40%)
  • Quarterly bonus (£10K-£12K/year) based on strategic client wins and delivery
  • Monthly commission based on billed GP – £5K–£10K/month realistic
  • Additional split fees (20-50% of NFI) for shared delivery wins

Plus:

  • Hybrid working setup (2 days office, 3 remote)
  • 30 days annual leave (including office closure at Christmas)
  • International office network with cross-border mobility options
  • “Work from anywhere” week each year
  • Sabbatical options after long service
  • Monthly lunch clubs, performance trips, and in-house L&D
  • Supportive, no-nonsense culture with strong leadership

Curious but not ready to commit? No problem. Let’s have a confidential conversation and see if it feels right.
