We are currently seeking a Reception and General Office Assistant to join our team in Sheffield on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is key to ensure the smooth and welcoming operation of our front-of-house services while also supporting the general office and facilities team when required. What you’ll be doing as Reception and General Office Assistant: Providing a professional front-of-house experience, including greeting visitors, managing calls and emails, and coordinating meeting room bookings and catering. Supporting daily reception operations in collaboration with the receptionist and hospitality assistant, ensuring smooth diary management and cover arrangements. Maintaining confidentiality and upholding firm procedures across all administrative tasks. Handling incoming and outgoing post, courier services, and banking duties. Managing office supplies, petty cash, and liaising with external archive providers. Assisting with general office duties such as photocopying, binding, and preparing mail for dispatch. We’re looking for a Reception and General Office Assistant with: Experience working in a similar or professional environment. Good IT skills. Outstanding organisation skills.
