Procurement Category Manager (HR) – hybrid, £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits As Procurement Category Manager for HR, reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you\’ll set the category strategy, conduct strategic sourcing and review supplier performance. Procurement Category Manager (HR) Role Details: Manage HR procurement category and lead sourcing projects including identification of potential suppliers, market research, production of tender documentation, management of RFx timelines, supplier evaluation and negotiation. Analyse data and internal & external insights to drive value (across cost, quality and supplier performance) Develop strong relationships with suppliers, working to build partnership that deliver continuous improvement, innovation and longer-term value. Mobilisation of contracts and new supplier relationships. Track the supply market – trends, risks and opportunities. Governance, risk and compliance management to mitigate and minimise risks. Develop and present reports on category performance including savings, supplier performance and market trends to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Facilitate communication and build relationships between regional and central teams to leverage collective buying power. Specific experience within the HR category would be very highly regarded Experience leading regulated sourcing activities (under PCR, UCR/PA23). Adept at requirement definition, sourcing planning, supplier management and competitive bidding.
