Job Title: Embroidery Machine Operative Location: Shipley, BD18 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: National Minimum Wage Contract: Temporary to Permanent About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an Embroidery Machine Operative to join a growing team based in Shipley (BD18). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sewing machine use who is looking to develop new skills in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided on embroidery machines. Key Responsibilities of Embroidery Machine Operative: Operate industrial embroidery machines to complete customer orders. Follow order instructions accurately, including thread colours, placements, and garment types. Use computer-based embroidery software (training provided). Inspect garments for accuracy and quality before and after embroidery. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace. Assist with packing and general duties as required.Requirements: Previous experience using a sewing machine (domestic or industrial). High attention to detail – quality and precision are essential. Basic to medium computer skills – able to navigate simple software and input data. Ability to read and understand order forms. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
