Job Description
Desktop Support Analyst – London (On-site, 5 days a week)
We are looking for someone to join the European arm of a leading financial firm, where you would working across several teams; including the trade floor.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the face of IT support, delivering high-quality technical service to a user base of around 350 people – including front-office traders and senior stakeholders.
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support across Windows 10/11, Office 365, and VDI environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues – digging deep to find root causes, not just escalating.
- Manage patching, updates, and software deployments using SCCM and other enterprise tools.
- Support collaboration platforms like MS Teams, Exchange, and Citrix.
- Investigate and resolve security vulnerabilities to keep systems safe and compliant.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in desktop or IT support; ideally in a fast paced environment.
- Strong technical skills across Windows 11, Office 365, VDI, Active Directory, and Citrix.
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and basic networking principles.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
- Excellent communication skills – confident dealing directly with key business users.
