Hours: 15 hours per week (1 x 6.00am-9.00am, 1 x 3.30pm-6.30pm)

The staff and Governing Board are seeking to appoint 2 reliable, hardworking and committed team members to undertake cleaning and associated tasks of the school premises, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and take great pride in how our school looks and functions.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an open mind and flexible approach to working hours
  • be able to accept changes to standard routine when requested and respond effectively to reasonable additional tasks as outlined by the Site Manager, which may include deep cleaning and covering for colleagues
  • be able to work effectively on your own, as well as working as part of a team
  • be able to meet the physical demands of the role
  • understand basic health and safety requirements
  • be flexible, reliable and enthusiastic

Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage, but not essential.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
