Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Owning key HR processes and activities
Managing the recruitment process; liaising with managers, candidates, contractors and external recruiters
Developing relationships with relevant organisations and universities, and attending events in order to attract graduates and promote Nexor
Managing onboarding activities, ensuring these are tailored to the role and the requirements of the Department
Managing Nexor’s performance management processes in conjunction with Department and Line Managers
Organising external and in-house training and workshops, and maintaining records
Managing other elements of HR, including leavers, absences, and Health and Wellbeing programme
Maintaining HR procedures and HR records, and maximising the benefits of Nexor’s HR database.
Organising Company Events and managing reward and recognition activities
Identifying and arranging quarterly events which will encourage maximum staff attendance
Facilitating staff incentives, including annual Easter Eggs; Christmas, and Summer Hampers
Liaising with Managers to facilitate ad hoc recognition awards.
Managing the office and overseeing office attendance
Ensuring there is adequate daily cover for Corporate Services
Liaising with other Managers to ensure that office attendance levels are encouraged and maintained
Managing staff and the security of the offices
Liaising with external sources to ensure the security of the premises is maintained and relevant staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Managing access, ensuring that staff have the right level in line with their requirements, and that records are accurately maintained.
Additional Responsibilities
Manage the diaries of the Chairman and Managing Director.
Provide support to the Office Administrator during busy periods and during annual leave.
Participating in activities which will support and develop a strong collaborative culture within Nexor and other business improvement activities.
Provide general support to the Business and other members of staff, as required.
Constraints
May be required occasionally to work outside normal hours to meet deadlines.
