Role Overview:
Our long-term partner, a leading financial services company, is hiring a Modern Workplace Manager with recent experience in architecting solutions that transition from on-premise/DC complex environments to modern workplace technology suites (365/SharePoint/OneDrive/Intune). The position holder will be entrusted with providing tailored solutions based on industry best practices that ensure a strong strategic positioning for the future advancement and expansion of EUT, in line with the Group’s IT stakeholders’ requirements. Our client is offering a salary of £68,000 circa, 15% bonus, pension, healthcare, and hybrid working to be based in Wolverhampton.
To be successful, you must have experience in implementing digital/modern workplace strategies (LLDs/HLDs) within large enterprise corporations coupled with technical leadership capabilites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the Digital Workplace approach, focusing on performance, resilience, security, and scalability.
- Deliver tailored, future-proof solutions in line with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with the Group’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the Digital Workplace infrastructure, ensuring it supports business expansion and evolving requirements.
- Ensure strong security protocols and risk management practices are integrated throughout the digital environment.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies to improve the digital user experience.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and implementing Digital Workplace strategies or similar large-scale IT transformation projects is a must have.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint and Azure AD is a must have.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, enterprise security, and system scalability is must have.
- Development and delivery of technologies including MS Exchange Online, Office 365, Citrix and Azure is a must have.
- Strong experience designing (HLD/LLD) whilst implementing new technology solutions for Workplace Services is a must have.
- ITIL certification, Foundation or above, is a must-have.
