Our Motorsport client are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Energy and Electrical Systems team, supporting high-profile international Motorsport events. This is a hands-on, travel-based role ensuring reliable power delivery for complex broadcast and technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Setup
- Coordinate electrical delivery with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Specify equipment and oversee third-party installation.
- Manage logistics including fuel, freight, and stock.
- Design and build critical touring power systems.
- Maintain compliance, testing records, and health & safety documentation.
Event Operations
- Lead on-site installation of generators, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment.
- Monitor and support systems during live operations and provide out-of-hours cover.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical needs on-site.
- Support departments with custom power solutions.
Other Duties
- Assist with workshop builds and equipment preparation
- Lead the design of high-redundancy power systems.
- Support on-call duties related to remote broadcast and tech centre operations.
What You Bring
- 6+ years as a fully qualified electrician.
- Strong experience with generators, UPS, and critical power setups.
- Comfortable working under pressure, on the road, and with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel
