Responsibilities:
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of educational materials for HVAC product and services training. Prepare sales aids, stock lists, match-up forms, etc., for internal and customer use.
- Scheduling, organizing, facilitation, and delivery of classroom, virtual classroom, and on-the-job training for branch personnel and customers. Development and updating of HVAC certification programs as necessary.
- Become certified trainer in vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi).
- Monitor HVAC training programs to evaluate their effectiveness and recommend modifications.
- Function as an internal consultant on HVAC product lines to assess, measure, and enhance employee performance.
- Respond promptly to customers and TGG associates seeking technical support.
- Visit job sites with customers and vendors when necessary.
- Maintain records of HVAC training activities, employee attendance, and progress. Track income and expenses for all training.
- Coordinate learning delivery through multiple mediums including personal facilitation, e-learning, vendor, and other educational organizations.
- Facilitate and support the integration of company marketing concepts within the sales function. Accompany outside sales team and branch managers during client presentations. Secure and generate new business, and identify plumbing and heating contractors for HVAC expansion. Collaborate with purchasing and branch staff to identify necessary HVAC products for the market.
- Interface with new hires and experienced employees to ensure HVAC sales training addresses current and future organizational needs.
- Stay updated on HVAC industry trends, marketplace developments, local and federal requirements, technological advances, and strategies.
- Work with VP of Marketing and manufacturer representatives to organize counter days and educational events for staff and customers.
- Perform all duties safely, adhering to company safety policies.
- Familiarize with Wrightsoft to assist branches with this program.
