Assistant Site Manager
Huntingdon
We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to assist the team on a new build housing development in Huntingdon.
The ideal candidate will have strong residential experience and be confident in overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure continuity and safety whilst on site.
Interviews will be carried out prior to a start as this is a long term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support daily site operations, ensuring work continues to plan and programme
* Manage sub-contractors on-site, maintaining quality standards and health & safety compliance
* Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks where necessary
* Monitor and report on progress to senior management
* Address any minor site issues to ensure smooth delivery during the cover period
* Assist with general site documentation and record-keeping
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black), and First Aid certification
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to hit the ground running and manage day-to-day site activities
