Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable young and at-risk young people? A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Graduate Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located near Guildford, in the beautiful Surrey Hills and has on-site parking. The ideal Graduate Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.
