The Role:
This is an exciting role within a busy service, providing assessments to families and adults. It is a hybrid role for qualified clinicians within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, conducting autism and ADHD assessments via NHS referral. Some tasks may be remote, but attendance at the office is required.
The clinician will conduct comprehensive assessments using established diagnostic tools, write reports, and provide recommendations. There may also be supervision responsibilities depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments with children and young people
- Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
- Ideally ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in report writing
- Additional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD are a plus
Additional:
Clinical supervision is an integral part of the role.
