Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with adults living with various conditions including LD, dementia, mental health and other physical conditions on a person-centred basis. You will be there to ensure that residents are involved in all decisions regarding their care, and you\’ll help encourage and develop new skills through a variety of different activities.

In this role, you will work waking nights and be responsible for providing excellent care to your residents. Your duties will include administering medication, carrying out personal care tasks, conducting security checks, and performing domestic tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring that your residents are safe, comfortable, and most importantly happy.

This is a truly rewarding role that requires energy, compassion and a passion for helping others. You will be working as part of a supportive team of professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those they support. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
