We are seeking a Head of Financial Reporting for a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed business in Central London. In this key role, you’ll ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the group and lead a junior team. This opportunity comes during a time of transformation, and you\’ll be instrumental in shaping the financial reporting strategy.
Key Requirements:
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (or working towards)
- 5+ years in financial reporting or management accounting
- Experience managing and developing junior teams
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial models
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiar with accruals, deferred income, and reporting processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly financial close and reporting processes
- Oversee financial journals, reconciliations, and P&L reports
- Collaborate with business units on performance and decision-making
- Prepare and deliver the Monthly Board Pack for CFO sign-off
- Ensure year-end financials are audit-ready
- Mentor and develop a team of six
- Improve financial reporting processes and drive system transformations
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects
