We are looking for a new member to join the Commercial team; someone with a genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent service, nurturing relationships and growing existing business.
As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be the responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients including household names across a wide variety of sectors.
Your focus will be on cultivating lasting relationships, enhancing customer value and ensuring our clients receive industry leading knowledge from our team of experts. At Commercial, we achieve our vision by helping our clients to exceed theirs.
Your responsibilities as a Corporate Development Manager will be:
- Identify your clients needs and how our wide range of products and services will benefit their business. This includes Office Supplies, Print, IT, Smart Technology, Managed Print Services, Interiors, PPE, Facilities and Workwear.
- Arrange and facilitate site visits for existing and prospect customers to showcase Commercial’s offering.
- Negotiate contract renewals and where possible increase the range of services purchased from Commercial to increase customer retention and spend
- Successfully achieve sales, activity and product category targets
- Manage, maintain and increase margins by offering the best range of products and alternatives to customers
- Build rapport and nurture customer relationships, ensuring client accounts remain profitable at all times
- Hold regular account reviews with clients both in person and on Teams depending on the clients preference.
- Identify leakage and lack of spend against contracts. Where necessary develop and follow a plan to ensure customers are compliant through personalised Account Reviews.
- Successfully set up correct Management Information on a monthly basis.
- Work collaboratively with the Business Development Team to generate new business and assist with the process of winning the new account.
About you
- You have previous experience within Sales, where targets are consistently being achieved or exceeded
- A passion and desire for service, allowing you to build rapport and develop excellent business relationships
- Proven experience of building sound, long lasting relationships with both new and existing clients
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- You have a can-do, flexible and passionate style to your work
- You effectively manage your time with an organised and forward-thinking approach
- You are analytical and able to present and develop data to a high standard
- You have previous experience using a CRM system effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- A full UK driving licence as travel to our customers sites throughout the UK is required
