We put ourselves in our clients\’ shoes, as part of a team of effective businesspeople as well as efficient lawyers.
The Business Development team is a centralised function advising and supporting the Firm in its marketing, sales support and business development activities. The key drivers for the team are to ensure we support the development and implementation of the firm\’s strategy and in particular help:

Develop and deliver a clear brand proposition through our sector, City and international focus
Your Role
The Senior Business Development Executive (SBDE) will work with the Disputes Business Development Manager (BDM) to deliver the group strategy through related BD and Marketing activity. You\’ll be joining at a very exciting time for the Disputes Group which has grown by 184% in the last 5 years and rated the fastest growth of any litigation team by The Lawyer.

You will work alongside the BDM in developing, implementing and reviewing BD plans for practice groups.
You will provide support and also lead on the BD targeting activities, tracking opportunities from large programmes and campaigns. You will work alongside other team members across the BD Directorate as required to ensure delivery of these.
You will be highly organised and manage, monitor and measure business development activity accurately and regularly.
You will lead on the production and delivery of bids and tenders for new business opportunities, from completing PQQ type response and taking ownership for response drafts to taking a lead role on appropriate bid opportunities and providing adequate support to the Bids team on major panel tenders.
You will develop knowledge and keep up to date with developments across key service lines and growth areas to understand our client offerings.
You will lead the creation of credentials, case studies and testimonials and work with the design team to update and prepare capability statements and other client presentations and material in line with the firms visual identity and brand.
You will be instrumental in providing support to partners and other fee-earners in relation to individual client meetings. This may include working alongside the Bids team to produce any pitch related documentation.
You will take ownership and maintenance of the various Disputes webpages – ensuring content is kept up-to-date such as specialism pages, insights and general updates.
You will input into our BD Hub – ensuring content is kept up-to-date and is categorised correctly to ensure it is searchable.
You will be an ambassador for our technology platforms, specifically, our CRM platform (InterAction) and central creds repository (Foundation) to ensure their use is optimised across Disputes to support BD activities and opportunities.
You will support the BDM and work with the Internal Communications team to draft internal comms for the Group including key updates on campaigns / initiatives, upcoming events and key client work.
You will also help with the ongoing BAU tasks that we receive within Groups.
