Job Specification: Warehouse Admin Location: S70 Barnsley Salary: £17.00ph Hours: 6.00pm – 06.00am 4 on 4 off Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Role Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our team in S70 . This is a fantastic opportunity to support the efficient running of warehouse operations, handling administrative tasks, inventory management, and ensuring timely communication between departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and be comfortable working in a cold environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent role for individuals with prior admin or warehouse experience who are looking to expand their skills. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Accurately record and monitor stock levels, updating warehouse management systems to reflect real-time data. Order Processing: Input and process customer and internal orders, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch. Warehouse Coordination: Liaise with warehouse teams and other departments to ensure smooth running of operations, including managing shipment schedules and delivery logistics. Data Entry: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring all information is logged into the system efficiently. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while handling inventory. Documentation: Prepare reports, labels, and necessary documents using Microsoft Excel and Word, ensuring correct filing and record-keeping. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, drivers, and external suppliers, providing updates and resolving queries in a timely manner. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within a cold storage facility. General Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support, managing emails, filing, and other clerical tasks as required. Previous Experience: Experience in a warehouse administration role or a similar environment is desirable. Candidates with general administrative experience will also be considered. IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required. Experience with warehouse management or bespoke database systems is advantageous. Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is essential for managing stock and ensuring data is correctly logged.
